Human Resources, a term mostly used in regards to a certain department or person at a business who manages employees, benefits, training, etc.  But, this term can also relate to life.  Our coworkers, bosses, employees, friends, and family are all human.  And all these are some of our best resources.  Our life, inside as well as outside of work, can be termed “human resource management.”

This is also  a concept I learned in Customer Service training, our “customers” are more than just a person that purchases our products or services.  Our customers are our clients, our coworkers, our vendors, and any person that walks into our establishment.  Even the mailman should be considered your customer.  Any person that can (and will) form an opinion of your business and your employees should be treated as a customer.  You never know who will be talking about you!

Why is Human Resources an area I find so fascinating?  Well, because people are fascinating and people are part of EVERY business!  No matter your product, your service, your goals or your success, you need people to make them all happen.

Another area that is a passion for me is training.  I believe that proper and comprehensive training is key to employee success which translates to business success.
